Herzlich Willkommen auf unserer kleinen Homepage (English version see below)

Wir laden euch ein, einen Blick auf unsere Impressionen und Reiseberichte aus unseren Ferien 2009 (USA-Westküste), 2012 (Kanada, B.C. und Alberta) und 2015 (Yukon/Alaska), unserer sogenannten Westküsten-Trilogie, zu werfen. In insgesamt ca. 16 Wochen haben wir rund 22'000 km mit dem Auto bzw. Camper und knapp 1'000 km per Schiff zurückgelegt.

Wenn wir nicht gerade grosse Ferien machen, sind wir eigentlich seit 1999 jedes Jahr einmal in Irland anzutreffen. Deshalb auch von dort Fotos mit Reisebericht von unserem extrem sonnigen 2010er-Trip sowie Fotos der Ferien mit Moni & Sven von 2013.

Ausserdem haben wir noch Fotos von unserem Florida-Urlaub von 2014 mit Kellis eingestellt.

Im 2018 sind wir mit dem Camper von zu Hause aus gestartet und haben vier Wochen die Schweiz, Italien und Kroatien besucht. Auch zu dieser Reise haben wir Bericht und Fotos eingestellt. 

Im Frühling 2019 haben wir uns, wie 2014, nochmals das Haus unserer Freunde in Cape Coral für zwei Wochen gesichert und herrliche Badeferien verbracht. Im Anschluss noch ein paar Tage den Universal-Park in Florida (Hard Rock Hotel) besucht. das war vor allem für Truni der absolute Hit. 

Im Jahre 2020 (Corona) haben wir mit Marita und Thomy zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Schweiz (Tessin, Bündnerland) verbracht.

Über 2021 gibts nur wenig zu berichten. Die geplanten Camperferien und den Irlandaufenthalt mussten wir krankheitsbedingt canceln.

Dafür konnten wir im Mai 2022 die ein Jahr zuvor geplante Irland-Reise antreten und verbrachten 11 wundervolle Tage auf dem Boot in Irland. Ende August gings dann für 3 Wochen in Sommerurlaub (1 Woche Tessin/Piemont, 2 Wochen Sardinien). Besonders Sardinien hat es uns angetan. Da werden wir sicher wieder mal autauchen.

2023 konnten wir dann endlich die Kanada-Auffrischung in Angriff nehmen. Es waren wunderschöne 7 Wochen in B.C./Alberta.

2024 wollen wir nun mit dem E-Bike der Donau entlang radeln. Wird sicher cool und einige Impressionen werden den Weg sicher auf unsere Homepage finden.

Welcome to our little homepage

We invite you to take a look at our impressions and travel reports from our vacations in 2009 (USA West Coast), 2012 (Canada, B.C. and Alberta) and 2015 (Yukon/Alaska), our so-called West Coast trilogy. In a total of around 16 weeks, we covered around 22,000 km by car or camper and almost 1,000 km by boat.

When we're not on a big vacation, we've actually been in Ireland every year since 1999. That's why we also have photos from there with a travel report from our extremely sunny 2010 trip and photos of our vacation with Moni & Sven from 2013.

We have also added photos from our Florida vacation with Kellis in 2014.

In 2018, we set off from home in our camper and spent four weeks visiting Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. We have also posted a report and photos of this trip.

In spring 2019, as in 2014, we once again booked our friends' house in Cape Coral for two weeks and enjoyed a wonderful beach vacation. Afterwards, we visited the Universal Park in Florida (Hard Rock Hotel) for a few days, which was an absolute hit, especially for Truni.

In 2020 (Corona) we spent two wonderful weeks in Switzerland (Ticino, Bündnerland) with Marita and Thomy.

There is little to report about 2021. We had to cancel the planned camper vacation and the stay in Ireland due to illness.

Instead, in May 2022 we were able to go on the trip to Ireland we had planned a year earlier and spent 11 wonderful days on the boat in Ireland. At the end of August, we then went on a 3-week summer vacation (1 week in Ticino/Piedmont, 2 weeks in Sardinia). We were particularly taken with Sardinia. We'll definitely come there again.

In 2023, we were finally able to tackle the Canada refresher course. It was a wonderful 7 weeks in B.C./Alberta.

In 2024 we want to cycle along the Donau on an e-bike. It will certainly be cool and some impressions will surely find their way onto our homepage.
